April Bowers:
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing since 2009.  I have experience in a variety of settings from schools, community, outpatient agencies and in-home services.  With this experience, I have treated adults, children, families and couples of all ages with a variety of concerns.  Some areas include: anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, family issues, behavioral/oppositional issues, grief, and trauma.

I feel that the client chooses the direction of their treatment.  Together, we work to create individualized goals to address their concern and struggles.  I strive to build upon my clients strengths in order to overcome the issues that they are seeking to address.  I provide a safe, supportive and objective space where people can feel comfortable sharing.  The therapeutic relationship is a key factor in successfully working towards the client’s desired goals.

You have taken the first step in helping yourself to a happier and healthier life and I would be honored to support you in that journey!
